Analisa Pines is a Policy Graduate Research Assistant at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center, where she supports policy data analysis, tracks legislation, assists with data collection, and contributes to policy briefs and reports.
Previously, Analisa was a Graduate Research Assistant at the Tennessee Education Research Alliance (TERA), working on various PK-12 policy topics. Before TERA, she served as a Policy Research Assistant at Child Trends, a non-profit organization specializing in research on children and education. As part of Child Trends’ Early Childhood Development team, she contributed to projects on early care and learning, focusing on program quality, child care licensing, and early childhood educator workforce support.
In the summer of 2024, Analisa interned at the Brown Center on Education Policy at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., where she primarily worked on research related to school choice and school board elections.
Analisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame and is currently pursuing her M.P.P. at Vanderbilt University. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys backpacking, pottery, and cheering for her hometown team, the Golden State Warriors.
