Maresa Whaley is the Senior Events Coordinator at the Prenatal to 3 Policy Impact Center. In her role she leads the organization, coordination, and execution of Policy Impact Center’s webinars, virtual and in-person event logistics. She manages vendor contracts and relationships, leads communications with speakers and attendees while maintaining budgets, expenses, and travel.
Previously, she was an Event Manager with Aspire Event Management where she was responsible for the planning and delivery of multiple conferences and events, staff management, and operations. Maresa brings 20 years of experience in strategic events management and oversight. She spent the majority of her experience in higher education, holding positions at Tennessee State University and the Tennessee Board of Regents. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a Certification in Nonprofit Management from Tennessee State University.
Maresa is a native of Anderson, Indiana but has been in Nashville for nearly 30 years. In her free time she enjoys listening to podcasts, exploring Nashville restaurants, spending time with her husband and children, and being a sports and dance mom.
