Natalie is a Policy Data Analyst at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center. In this role, she determines and delivers the data needs for the annual State Policy Roadmap and additional special projects.
Prior to this role, Natalie worked as a Data Analyst at IPUMS, housed at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. At IPUMS, she worked closely with data from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) and National Health Interview Survey (NHIS). Natalie harmonized, recoded, and documented the complex data to make it easier for researchers, academics, and the general public to use.
Natalie holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy Economics from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, Minnesota). She is from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area and now lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her Beagle-mix rescue dog, Lucy. Outside of work, Natalie enjoys visiting new Minnesota state parks with her fiancé and Lucy, knitting, reading, and cooking.
