Decades of research on the science of the developing child makes clear the conditions necessary for young children and their families to thrive. These conditions inform our eight prenatal-to-3 policy goals. We collect and publish relevant outcome data, review rigorous research to determine the state policies most effective at achieving these goals, conduct original research to add to the evidence base, and track state progress.
