Roland is a Senior Communications Specialist at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center. In his role, he collaboratively helps oversee the day-to-day communication needs of the Center which include assisting with the development and execution of strategic goals, email campaigns, social media, multimedia production, graphic design, website management, and various events and presentations throughout the year.
Prior to this role, Roland was a Communications Specialist at the Texas Association of Counties supporting all elected county officials state-wide, working with the Legislative Team to monitor legislation that affected county operations. Prior to that, over the course of 10 years, he served as Communications Director for three different churches in the Dallas area working to increase community connection and engagement.
Roland graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas and studied architecture at The University of Texas at Arlington. He lives in Austin, Texas and is the father of three (grown adult) children. His spare time is filled with good books, good music, good podcasts, and great coffee.
