Allison is a State Policy Analyst at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center at Vanderbilt University. In her role, Allison monitors the development, adoption, and implementation of state policies related to economic security for families with young children. She analyzes policy variation and trends across the states and serves as a resource for state-level policymakers and advocates. Allison also contributes to the development of the annual Prenatal-to-3 State Policy Roadmap.
Prior to this role, Allison worked as a policy associate at the Texas Pediatric Society, where she supported the advocacy efforts of Texas pediatricians related to food insecurity, social drivers of health, and Medicaid. Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University.
Allison lives in Austin, Texas. In her free time, she loves running half marathons and exploring local breweries. She is also an enthusiastic supporter of Duke Basketball, Austin FC, and women’s soccer.
