Becca Lustick, MA

Senior Equity Research Associate

Becca is a Senior Equity Research Associate at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center. In this role, she analyses how state policies on early care and learning maintain or minimize inequities, with an emphasis on the historical foundations of policies and present disparities in outcomes. Additionally, she develops relationships with key partners, produces technical written products, and serves as a resource for state policymakers.

Prior to this role, Becca was a member of the Early Learning team at The Hunt Institute, where she synthesized research and developed written materials on early childhood policies for state legislators. Becca holds a MA in International Education Policy Analysis from the Stanford Graduate School of Education and BAs in Public Policy and Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago. Her research interests include young children’s socialization and families’ access to comprehensive early childhood supports.

Becca is from Missouri but currently resides in North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys curling up with a good book, trying out new bakes, and recentering through yoga and dance classes. She also loves getting outdoors, whether that be lying on the beach, hiking, or going out on the water.
