Cory Worrall, MPP

State Policy Analyst

Cory Worrall is a State Policy Analyst at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center at Vanderbilt University. In her role, Cory monitors the development, adoption, and implementation of state policies related to economic support and security for families with young children. She analyzes policy variation and trends across the states and serves as a resource for state-level policymakers and advocates. Cory also contributes to the development of the annual Prenatal-to-3 State Policy Roadmap.

Previously, Cory worked as a policy associate at a women’s shelter in Boston, supporting policy efforts that impacted low-income and homeless women and their families. She advocated for state and city policies on housing, benefits access, poverty, immigration, and economic support. Additionally, she worked directly with these women to educate them on civic participation, the legislative process, and government affairs affecting their lives.

Cory holds a Master of Public Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from American University. After studying in Washington, DC, she returned to her hometown of Boston, MA. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new neighborhoods, going to the beach, and skiing.
