Jennifer Acevedo is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center where she supports the team with research and data collection.
Additionally, she works as a Data and Research Analyst at the Texas Public Charter Schools Association (TPCSA), where she conducts analyses of statewide education data and policies and collaborates with advocacy and communications teams to translate findings into actionable insights for lawmakers and stakeholders.
Previously, she worked as a Kindergarten Bilingual Teacher in Houston, serving as a Grade Level Chair and a Teach Plus policy fellow. During her time in the classroom, she earned recognition for high student achievement and growth, while also leading initiatives focused on family engagement, student wellness, and education advocacy.
Jennifer has a BA degree in Psychology from Pomona College and is currently working towards her M.P.P in Education Policy at Vanderbilt University.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys reading, staying active, and volunteering in children’s ministry.
