Jingyue Zhang, MA/MPP

Research Associate

Jingyue is a Research Associate at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center. In her role, she conducts rigorous policy and program evaluations by working with researchers and practitioners to expand the existing evidence base around supporting the health and well-being of children and families. 

Before this role, Jingyue was a Student Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University where she collected and managed a database of state-customized job training programs in preparation for impact evaluation. She has also taught English and Music at an elementary school in rural China for two years as a Teaching Fellow through Teach for China. Driven by a passion for equity, Jingyue’s research spans a variety of topics, including early childhood parenting intervention, caregiver mental health, and equitable distribution of education resources. Her work used impact evaluation methods such as randomized controlled trials, quasi-experimental methods, and community-participatory research.

Jingyue holds a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Art in International Education Policy Analysis from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History and Child Development from Vanderbilt University. In her spare time, She enjoys singing, dancing, and playing the piano. She also loves trying out new restaurants and recipes whenever possible.
