Kiira is the Executive Assistant to the founder and Executive Director of the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center at Peabody College. She manages Dr. Cynthia Osborne’s calendar, travel schedule, and correspondence with essential colleagues, funders, donors, faculty, and students. By providing daily administrative support to the Executive Director, Kiira supports the Center’s mission to be a resource for states as they develop and implement policies that are proven to positively impact families with young children.
Prior to this role, Kiira worked for The University of Texas at Austin for over ten years. She had a myriad of roles with the University’s administration ranging from Administrative Assistant to Research Program Coordinator, from The Office of the Registrar to the Child and Family Research Partnership at the LBJ School of Public Affairs.
Kiira has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a native Texan and resides in Austin, TX, with her husband, cat, and three adorable ferrets. In her free time, she plays video games and loves to read. Her favorite genres include Sci-fi, Dystopian, Post-Apocalyptic, Horror, and True Crime. Her hobbies include ferrets, houseplants, birdwatching, and enjoying a local beer out on a patio in the sunshine.
