Megan Collier, PhD

Senior Research Associate

Megan is a Senior Research Associate at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center. In her role, she conducts rigorous policy and program evaluations by working with researchers and practitioners to expand the existing evidence base around supporting the health and well-being of children and families. Her research background is in pediatric clinical psychology and global public health, focusing on social determinants of health and the role of policies in limiting or facilitating access to care for under-resourced families. 

Megan has over a decade of multidisciplinary research and policy experience. Before this role, she most recently headed the Boston College data team for a five-year, NIH-funded study investigating pediatric Ebola’s physical, psychosocial, and economic impact on children and their caregivers in Sierra Leone. 

Megan holds a PhD in social work from Boston College, a master’s in child studies from Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor of Science in applied psychology from New York University. She lives in Nashville, TN. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and going to the theatre.
