Alex Haralampoudis is the Director of Data and Analytics at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center. In her role, she oversees all processes for data collection and analysis for the annual Prenatal-to-3 State Policy Roadmap and other key Policy Team products for the field.
With over a decade of experience, Alex has led large-scale, applied research and program evaluation projects at Cornell University, New York University, Rutgers University and the City University of New York (CUNY). Her work has focused broadly on the impacts of programs and policies on families living in poverty, often leveraging multi-disciplinary and cross-institution collaborations to produce actionable findings. With particular interest and developed expertise in state tax policies, her dissertation research focused on the impact of state tax policies on family’s well-being, applying advanced training in methods for causal inference to several nationally representative data sets.
Alex earned a PhD from Rutgers School of Social Work, MSW from NYU Silver School of Social Work, and a B.S. in Human Development from Cornell University. A proud resident of New Jersey, Alex and her family enjoy spending time outside, at local beaches, playgrounds, and horse farms.
