The mission of the Buffett Early Childhood Fund is to invest in practice, policy, and science to maximize the potential of the youngest and most vulnerable children and their families.

In recognition for the need to connect policy evidence to policy development, the Fund has awarded the national Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center at The University of Texas at Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs with a generous multi-year financial commitment.

The Policy Impact Center launched as part of the Child and Family Research Partnership in 2019 with initial support from the J.B. and M.K. Pritzker Family Foundation.
